Day-to-day maintainance

Each morning I vocalize in the shower, adding a few drops of eucalyptus oil to the water.

I stay active with calisthenics, hiking, Pilates, long distance walks, and yoga. My goal is to exercise twice daily, even if it is as simple as a few sets of planks, wall sits, push-ups, hundreds, and the series of five.

I do my best to start and end my day with a glass of water, boiled and cooled to 160°F or so, with the juice of one lemon, squeezed, per glass.

I also end my day with a magnesium supplement mixed in a glass of boiled water, cooled to 160°F or so. One example is Natural Vitality Natural Calm Diet Supplement, Raspberry Lemon. (There are both vegan and non-vegan versions of this particular supplement so read the label to be sure.)

While I enjoy preparing elaborate meals for dinner parties, I find my body is at its peak when I stick to meals consisting of steamed vegetables, a hearty salad, legumes, grains, and a cup or bowl of fresh fruit. I also limit my intake of fruit juices, carbonated beverages, and alcohol.
